Facilitators are carefully selected to enhance the overall experience and theme of each retreat. We are honored to feature Lisa Catallo, Ashlyn Douglass-Barnes, Nicole Ripley, and Chantelle Froats, who are inspirational, caring, and dynamic leaders.

  • Ashlyn Douglass-Barnes: A seasoned therapist, group practice owner, and supervisor for under-licensed providers, Ashlyn has successfully expanded income streams through various methods. She has developed her own directory, coaching program, niche market programs and counselling, assessments, course creation, and the successful publishing and sales of worksheets, journals, and templates. Ashlyn has also helped fellow therapists and group practice owners achieve similar success.

  • Lisa Catallo: A highly experienced clinical therapist who has successfully operated as a group practice owner for six years. She oversees a thriving group practice with two locations. Lisa is a dedicated business coach for fellow group clinic owners and the owner of the Group Practice Network.

  • Nicole Ripley: With over a decade of experience as a clinical therapist, clinical supervisor, and dedicated group practice owner, Nicole Ripley offers exceptional leadership and expertise in the field of group clinic ownership. Her organization is made up of over 50 practitioners and 12 non-clinical staff across eight locations, where she has effectively grown her business and continues to achieve remarkable expansion and success.

  • Chantelle Froats: With over 15 years in business development, Chantelle offers extensive knowledge on running a sustainable group practices, encompassing all facets from day-to-day operations to strategic marketing, financial management, and fostering organizational excellence.

RETREAT VENUE & TOWN

The Kriti Hotel is nestled in the charming old town of Chania, just a few minutes from the seaside, surrounded by the rich history and beauty of the Venetian old town and located 50 meters from Koum Kapi Beach. This prime location offers easy access to the area's picturesque streets, historic sites, and vibrant local culture, making it an ideal base for exploring all that Chania has to offer.

The hotel boasts a range of amenities designed to enhance your stay. Each morning, guests can enjoy a delicious daily breakfast. The property features a small bar where you can unwind with a refreshing drink, as well as a lovely large outdoor pool area for relaxation and leisure. Additionally, our well-equipped conference room within the hotel provides a convenient and comfortable space for retreat activities and sessions.

With only 80 rooms, The Kriti Hotel offers an intimate and exclusive atmosphere. The tranquil environment ensures a calm, safe and relaxing stay, providing ample space for rest and rejuvenation. The hotel is within walking distance of Chania's main attractions, allowing guests to easily explore the town, the Venetian harbor, waterfront restaurants, lighthouse, and beaches while enjoying a serene retreat experience.

REGISTRATION

Participant tickets start at $3,900 (CAD) (approx $2,900 USD). See all ticket options, room pricing and payment plan options on the registration form, limited spots available at this Retreat!

Bring a Guest and share a room! Colleague, friend or family member, add on $1,500 (CAD) (approx $1,100 (USD). Guests ticket includes breakfast, group meals, excursions and access to all workshops with participant.

Registration is open, please complete this FORM to reserve your spot at the retreat and our team will be in touch within 3 business days. Deposit of $750 (CAD) is required to secure your spot. Payment plans available, more details on the registration form.

POLICY

Cancellation Policy

When booking the retreat, a $750 (CAD) non-refundable deposit is required. If you decide to cancel the retreat, you have until June 30, 2025, to do so and request a refund in writing for the remaining portion of the ticket, excluding the deposit amount. This is the date given to us by our venue and we are unable to make any changes thereafter. Therefore, if you cancel after June 30, 2025, no refunds will be issued for the ticket, regardless of the reason for cancellation. It is important to understand that by purchasing a ticket for the retreat, you are agreeing to abide by our cancellation policy. Upon approval, a ticket may be transferred to another Group Practice Owner, we are often waitlisted and will do our best to support where possible. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.

TRANSPORTATION

We recommend flying into Chania International Airport (CHQ), to arrive on September 21, 2025. Taxi is available to hotel from airport, approximately 25 minutes drive.

Must have a valid passport that does not expire 3 months within the time of travel.

Hotel check in is 3pm and check out is 11am.

DIETARY REQUESTS

Guests who have specific dietary requirements or restrictions are kindly requested to inform us in advance. By providing us with this information ahead of time, we will make every effort to accommodate your requests. We cannot guarantee the availability of specific ingredients or guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

All participants of our retreat must secure appropriate travel insurance to protect themselves against unforeseen circumstances. Travel insurance should include coverage for trip cancellation, trip interruption, medical expenses, emergency evacuation, and personal liability. Participants are responsible for obtaining their own travel insurance and should ensure that the coverage meets their individual needs and requirements. Please review your insurance policy carefully and contact your insurance provider for any specific questions or concerns regarding coverage.
