The Canadian Group Practice Owner Connect Retreat, took place at a private ocean front Villa in Playa Hermosa, Puntarenas Province, Costa Rica. From February 25- March 01, 2023 fellow professionals gathered to elevate themselves and their practice while enjoying a private beachfront Villa steps from the sand!  

This intimate retreat was designed specifically for Group Practice Owners looking to Recharge and Connect with themselves and fellow peers. Each day was carefully crafted to ensure there is ample time to rest, recharge and enjoy the spectacular beachfront front property. Workshops and activities as a group range from personal wellness strategies, strategic planning, business development, and much more. Some of the core GPO topics our facilitators explored include:

• Set company financial targets (and pathways to attain them)

• Exploring company vision, mission and values

• Creating positive clinic culture

• Explore challenges of being a GPO

• Marketing strategies

• Leadership tips

• Networking, connection and so much more!

During this retreat, our guests had 5 days of time to connect with two very successful group clinic owners who are passionate about sharing their experiences and techniques with others.

The Space

Enjoy Casa Mia’s pool, rancho, and beach, just steps from the Villa. Limited spots available for this Retreat, with king, queen, or twin beds options (rates vary based on room selection). Included are fresh and locally inspired meals prepared by a private chef in the outdoor kitchen, snacks always available and cocktails during dinner. Special dietary needs will be accommodated upon request. We will enjoy one group dinner out at a restaurant (meal on own).  

We hope you can completely unwind and disconnect, however we also understand you are practice owners and checking-in with your team may provide some peace of mind, so there is wifi available throughout the Villa if needed. 

Enjoy a relaxing morning stroll on the beach, or an afternoon dip in the pool and spectacular sunsets from the pool deck. February is known as a warm month. The average maximum daytime temperature in Playa Hermosa in February lies at 30.5°C (86.9°F). The average minimum temperature goes down to around 18.9°C.
